HOW TO KEEP A VULCAN WARM IN THE SNOW

He'd initially been reticent, but curiosity had finally lured Spock
outside into the falling snow. Bundled up in three layers of outdoor
gear, he barely felt the gently drifting crystals as he gazed at the
beauty of the winter scene.

Kirk stuck out his tongue and caught a snowflake on the tip. Seeing no
one else around, Spock pounced playfully and sucked Kirk's tongue deep
inside his mouth.

When the kiss was over, Kirk returned to his boyish pursuit. Each time
he snared a flake, Spock would kiss it away.

"You were right," Spock said finally. "No two are alike."

Thank you. While I was writing this, I was stuck in a visitor's center
during snowing... there was definitely no Pockie there to entertain
me, just the hotel notepad I'd stuck into my pack that morning.

(What, no Pockie *doll*? How'd you manage that? <g>) It reminded
me of a story I wrote where Kirk taught Spock to make snowballs,
although the plot there was completely different.

Nope--it was the one story in that zine that I'm trying to keep
from posting just so there'll be *some* surprise left for people who
want to order it. (The other two stories in it are already either on
my site or in the process of being posted, which means you'll know
what the latter one is--I'm only posting one right now.)

Sequel to "Paradise Syndrome" with Spock helping Kirk get over
Miramanee.
